Visit Viseu - Spring 2004 Steam Trains Week

The first MOCANITA photo-tour of 2004 is organized between 7-13 of March on CFF Viseu.

Program: Starting Monday, 8^th of March 2004 on the Waser line you can find several steam engines running, besides the regular production trains. Each day, until Saturday, 13^th of March, you can find two steam engines running to Faina and back or to Novat.

Photo trains: during this special steam week there will run one steam train each day. The train will have several stops for taking pictures in the most interesting places on the line up in the Valley.

The program for this special train will be displayed one evening before the leaving day.

Steam locomotives: "Cozia-1" (764.408), 764.449 (ex. Moldovita), 764.469 and 764.436 (ex. Viseu Forest)

it will be used two locomotives each day and by the end of the trip these engines will be stored and displayed in front of the depot for visiting and taking pictures.

Trains: During this week there will be used regular production trains but these will have attached a special passenger coach in front of the wood wagons. If possible there will be used old blue passenger wagons (ex. Viseu Forest).

These services are part of the package offered for tourists who paid the fees for trips and accommodation. Special services are photographing inside steam depot and wood plant, participation in all trains programs during the entire week.

Price: 100 Euro/packet/person (accommodation not included)
